Advocating the development of children’s inner strength and promoting a sound mind, curaJOY, relies on profound scientific foundation and research evidence, and develops interactive learning games suitable for children from kindergarten to the junior high school first grade, effectively teaching them six inner strengths, including confidence, resilience, empathy, discipline, communication and cooperation. Kids not only get a happy childhood, but also a healthy mind that’s for their lifelong benefits.
The game production and development of curaJOY is sponsored by institute of education sciences of the U.S. department of Education and has rich research qualifications. The principal investigator of the project Dr. Melissa DeRossier has more than 30 projects funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Institute of Education, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In order to ensure the effectiveness of curaJOY products, 800 students from California, 266 elementary school students from Washington and North Carolina and their schoolteachers, counselors, parents were also involved. Starting from 2018, there has been two large-scale on-going studies of 3 and 5 years. Rigorous experimental procedures are used to examine the difference between children who use curaJOY games and children who do not use curaJOY games. The research team not only uses professional assessment tests to assess children’s social skills and EQ, and also observes the academic progress and school performance of the children and adolescents participating in the experiment (such as attendance rate, number of times showing problematic behaviors, etc.). Finally, these research results will be published in research journals with expert review mechanisms in related fields, as well as academic seminars and annual meetings.
curaJOY game products are children’s educational games that have proven their effectiveness through the largest scale experiments. This feature alone is enough to let people know that curaJOY products are not simple. curaJOY will continue to launch games that teach children to develop better habits and a healthier mentality in the future.
